Milk-Pro reaches its 50th country
Milk-Pro International is proud to announce that 17 years after the Milk-Pro pasteurisation system was first designed and developed, Milk-Pro units are now being used in 50 countries around the world. There are now almost 500 units spread across 6 continents, amongst customers ranging from individual farmers/entrepreneurs, to small-scale dairy cooperatives, to aid and donor organisations involved with social upliftment schemes.
"We've come a long way since 1994" says Greg Haylle-Dick, designer and developer of the unique, in-container pasteurisation system, "and have continued to improve the system over time with valuable input from Milk-Pro clients. We have only scratched the surface of the potential worldwide market with our performance so far, and continue to be excited about future prospects".
Experience has shown that each Milk-Pro unit touches the lives of between 1,500 and 3,000 people on a daily basis, from people who are involved in the milk supply chain to consumers who might otherwise not have had the opportunity to benefit from high-quality, fresh pasteurised milk in their daily diets. In today's tough financial conditions, the need for small-scale food producers to supply local communities is becoming greater from a food-security perspective, which is only encouraging Milk-Pro International to do even better.
